KIP PVC and PE masking tapes

for a longer-term use

KIP-Schutzband-2022

Kip protective tapes are the ideal aid for long-term masking in plastering, moulding, and building protection work indoors and outdoors. Kip protective tapes consist either of a PVC or PE substrate. The properties of Kip protective tapes are also affected by the properties of PVC or PE.

Kip PVC protective tapes are resistant to water, bases, oils, petrol, etc., and are dimensionally stable even when exposed to different temperatures to enable the masking of straight edges. Before using PVC tape on weathered plastic surfaces, test its adhesive capabilities on a small area. PE is naturally very elastic.

PE is resistant to water, solvents, acids, bases, and low temperatures (between -32 °C and -100 °C depending on the type of PE). As a result, the Kip 319 PE protective tape is smooth and stable when exposed to high or very low temperatures. In addition, a high-quality separating layer makes it easy to unroll, ensuring that the tape does not warp and enabling the masking of straight edges. Kip PE protective tape is ideally suited for use on plastic surfaces such as PVC due to its good plasticizer resistance.
